Kim Ellis has completed her degree in Neuromuscular Therapy at the New Zealand College of Massage concentrating on chronic pain. She has already achieved two diplomas in Health Science for Therapeutic Massage and Sports Therapy. Kim is interested in womens health from pregnancy through to menopause and is dedicated to helping those who suffer from mental health.
Liz Morrison is a qualified Therapeutic massage therapist, having completed a Diploma in Health Sciences (Therapeutic Massage) through The New Zealand College of Massage. She has also completed Dr Joe Muscolino's COMT (Clinical Orthopedic Manual Techniques) for the Lower Back and Pelvis. Liz has a special interest in Martial Arts Injuries. Having a solid background in JKA Shotokan Karate (2nd Dan) and still training 3 times a week, Liz has had her fair share of injuries. She understands the biomechanics involved in martial arts movements, which are often unusual in comparison to most other sporting movements. Liz can assist in your recovery and rehabilitation required to get you back in the dojo.
Both Liz and Kim are Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder) to treat pre and post operations, injuries, and aid in reducing oedema. Committed to continuing further professional development and adding to their many skills and techniques they have already learned, Liz and Kim have completed Foundation A and B and Advanced courses in pain management using dry needling, acu-stimulation and acupressure as well as Dr Joe Muscolino's COMT for the Upper Extremities.
